Every year the best cheese makers in world get together to show off their hard work at the cheese championships. And, like a championship dog show, a winner in each category is chosen and they advance to the “Best in Show” competition. We like to call the winners the “Best Cheese in World”.
In the last few years, THREE Wisconsin cheeses have won the title, "Best Cheese in the World".
We have collected and packaged these masterpieces all in a single gift assortment. We include about a half pound of each cheese in the gift boxed collection.
The three cheeses coincidently complement each other beautifully. Each style originated in a different region in Europe and were perfected here in our wonderful state.
Gold Medal Winner – World Cheese Awards
The creation of this unique cheese began as a quest to capture the best flavor attributes from Cheddars around the world and blend them into one unique cheese. Vat 17 World Cheddar is bold and complex, with a tangy nuttiness that is unsurpassed. It is a highly decorated cheese, winning numerous awards the world over.
An Alpine style cheese know for a rich, nutty flavor. This Grand Champion comes from the home of Swiss-style cheeses in America, Green County. It is Master-Made in copper vats and aged over 9 months.
A drier cheese, Surchoix has a delightful "After Flavor" as we like to say.
Literally, "beautiful life", we like to call BellaVitano, "beautiful cheese". This Parmesan/Asiago hybrid isrubber with coarse ground black peppercorns both it is aged for a year. Excellent grated over prosciutto and capers or all by itself.
Black Pepper BellaVitano is the first cheese in history to win both the "Best Cheese in America" and the "Best Cheese in the World", and, it did it in back-to-back competitions.
